Career Opportunities

SOLICITORS

We are always on the lookout for exceptional candidates.

Our current recruitment policy is to take on newly qualified solicitors with a view to them being 'fast tracked' to become Duty Solicitors. (currently, 5 in training). Specialisations or experience in Prison Law is another area for development. We also fast track candidates through 'accreditation' in Prison Law.

We are now developing an Appeal Department.

Candidates with a 'Higher Rights' interest are actively encouraged to progress (new process as of January '09).

We strive to establish long term relationships with all our staff.

FREELANCE/CONSULTANT DUTY SOLICITORS

We welcome approaches from Duty Solicitors interested in freelance or consultancy arrangements with us.

Did you know? Legal advice at the police station is free. Don't believe the police if they tell you that it will be quicker without a solicitor. This is a lie! Why should you trust someone who has just arrested you and wants to put you in prison? Friends and relatives - is someone you know 'helping police with their enquiries'? You can instruct us, on their behalf, to look after their interests.
